Deputies have released the name of an Illinois woman injured in a wreck on Pennyrile Parkway just south of the Russellville Road exit Saturday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say an SUV driven by 68-year-old Helen Mobley of Illinois was southbound when for an unknown reason it ran off the roadway into a ditch causing the vehicle to overturn multiple times before coming to a rest on its side in the roadway.
Mobley was taken by ambulance to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville and her passenger a 9-year-old from Clarksville, Tennesse was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
A third person was taken to the hospital after they had stopped to help and fell causing injuries.
The crash happened just before 1 p.m.
