Four COVID-Related Deaths Reported In Trigg County

The Pennyrile District Health Department has announced several deaths linked to COVID-19 in its five-county district, including four deaths in Trigg County.

Three of the Trigg County deaths occurred in January: a 63-year old male on January 3, a 74-year old male on January 23, and a 79-year old male on January 26. The December 24th death of a 95-year old female also was connected to COVID-19.

The health department also reported two deaths each in Caldwell and Lyon counties, one death in Crittenden County, and three deaths in Livingston County.

The health department also announced 46 new coronavirus cases around its five-county district Wednesday. Of those, sixteen were reported in Trigg County. All of these cases are recovering at home.

Elsewhere around the district, ten new COVID cases were reported in Caldwell County, along with four in Crittenden County, eleven cases in Livingston County, and five in Lyon County.

Statewide, Governor Andy Beshear announced 5,116 newly reported cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, 32 deaths and a positivity rate of 16.19%
