Division Of Forestry ‘No Burn’ Notice In Effect Until April 30

A reminder that from February 15 until April 30, and from October 1 through December 15, the Kentucky Division of Forestry has a no burning notice each day in effect until 6 p.m. — as these are considered forest fire hazard seasons.

During these times, it is unlawful set fire to any flammable material capable of spreading fire located in, or within, 150 feet of woodland and brushland except from 6 in the evening until 6 in the morning.

Or, when the ground is covered with snow.

All fires should be attended until fully extinguished.
