A lightning strike on Humphries Road in Trigg County damaged a home along with a tree Monday night.
Montgomery Fire Chief Doug Latham says a tree in front of the home was struck by lightning causing a small fire under the home.
Latham says the tree suffered significant damage adding the home only had minor damage and no one will be displaced due to the fire.
The home is located at 450 Humphries Road. Montgomery Fire Department was assisted by Cadiz Fire Department.
