A Cadiz man wanted in connection to a fatal shooting that happened on East 8th Street in Hopkinsville on November 28th has been taken into custody Wednesday.
Hopkinsville Police say 22-year-old Deovion Day was arrested in Fayette County on a warrant for murder, first-degree assault, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Day is charged in connection to the November 28th shooting on East 8th Street in Hopkinsville that led to the death of 21-year-old Aniya Collins who was found deceased in her vehicle from a gunshot wound to the chest.
21-year-old Zamarius Humphries was also found shot in the road and 30-year-old Gteria Acree reportedly showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg shortly after police arrived.
Day is one of three suspects wanted in the investigation. 27-year-old Jaquavian Spencer and 21-year-old Zamarius Humphries are still wanted in connection to the shooting.
Spencer is wanted for first-degree assault. Humphries is wanted for attempted first-degree assault.
According to WTVQ Day was also charged with two counts of probation violation on charges of fourth-degree assault, trafficking in marijuana, 6 counts of wanton endangerment, and 6 counts of third-degree terroristic threatening,
