The Caldwell County Grand Jury has indicted a Hopkinsville man for auto theft in relation to an incident last summer.
20-year old Jordan G. Smith, of Hopkinsville, saw a true bill returned for auto theft with a value of $1,000 or more.
Smith was arrested in Hopkinsville on a Caldwell County warrant for theft on August 31. Police said Smith took a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer without the owner’s permission and wrecked the vehicle in Hopkins County.
