A Hopkinsville woman was charged with robbery and resisting arrest at a Hopkinsville Church Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to Saint John United Methodist Church on South Virginia Street for 32-year-old Audrey Cooper who demanded money from someone and then assaulted them.
As law enforcement attempted to arrest her police say she jerked away and went into a fighting stance, she was then tased and she continued to fight officers before she was taken into custody.
She is charged with second-degree robbery, resisting arrest, and menacing.
