An Iowa man has been indicted by the Trigg County grand jury on rape charges stemming from an alleged incident in November.
21-year-old Jordan Berner of Maquoketa, Iowa was indicted on charges of third-degree rape, third-degree sodomy, and second-degree sexual abuse. The indictment says Berner had sex and engaged in sexual contact with a person under the age of 16 on two days in November. No other details were released. Berner’s bond was set at $10,000 cash.
Also among the indictments returned by the grand jury were charges against 26-year-old Raekwon Stubblefield of Cadiz. He is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance; possession of synthetic drugs; possession of drug paraphernalia; and several traffic-related charges. The charges stem from a September investigation by the Cadiz Police Department and allege Stubblefield was in possession of less than two grams of meth and was packaged for sale.
Stubblefield’s bond was set at $5,000 cash.
Elsewhere, 46-year-old Kevin Joseph Revor of Vine Grove was indicted on charges of DUI – fourth offense; driving on a license suspended for DUI, and being a persistent felony offender.
And 40-year-old James M. Sanders of Hopkinsville was indicted on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment; leaving the scene of an accident, and being a persistent felony offender. His bond was set at $10,000 cash.
