The generosity, purity, and kindness of the agriculture community was celebrated during the 2022 Trigg County Appreciation Dinner.
A large crowd gathered for the annual event on March 17 at Seven Springs Farms to honor two Outstanding Youth in Agriculture, the Agribusiness of the Year, and the Friend of Agriculture. The evening culminated with a presentation by photojournalist Paul Mobley.
Mobley said the making of his American Farmer book took him on a journey through agriculture across the country.

click to download audioPrior to Mobley’s presentation, Trigg County Treasurer Lucy Kyler presented the Friend of Agriculture award to Trigg County Judge-Executive Hollis Alexander and the members of Fiscal Court.
Farmer and Trigg County Vocational Agriculture teacher Jody P’Pool presented the Agribusiness of the Year award to Drs. Todd and Joanna Freeman and the staff of Little River Veterinary Clinic.
High School Vocational Agriculture teacher and FFA Advisor Karen Nolcox named Lilly P’Pool an Outstanding Youth in Agriculture.
Trigg County 4-H Agent Shelley Crawford recognized Anna Sink as an Outstanding Youth in Agriculture.
