A Hopkinsville woman was charged Thursday night after a stolen vehicle investigation in Hopkinsville.
Hopkinsville Police say on Sunday 48-year-old Yvette Simpson entered a home and took a man’s keys then drove off with his vehicle.
She reportedly texted him telling him she had taken the 2000 Honda Accord and would not be giving it back.
Police say Simpson and the man already had a domestic violence order in place due to a prior incident.
Simpson was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking, and violation of a Kentucky domestic violence order.
