A traffic stop on Canton Street in Hopkinsville led to drug charges for a Hopkinsville man Saturday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say Troy Scott was stopped for his tag showing canceled for failure to maintain insurance.
During the stop, a law enforcement K9 reportedly alerted on the vehicle and after a search cocaine along with a digital scale was located in the vehicle.
He was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, no registration plates, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, and operating a vehicle with an expired operator’s license.
