The Christian County School Board is requesting to operate under the newly passed House Bill 678 for construction of the consolidated high school. During a special meeting Thursday afternoon, board members approved the resolution after hearing from Assistant Superintendent Josh Hunt.

Board members also voted to approve applying for several waivers for the construction – including not installing lockers for every student, only installing single shower heads in the gymnasiums, allowing volleyball inserts in the gym floors, and increasing the alternate bid options.
