Hopkinsville Rotary On Track For Record Auction

The Hopkinsville Rotary Club is continuing to head toward what appears to be a record fundraising auction total.

After four nights the 72nd annual Volunteer Tradition-themed auction has raised $316,948. Auctioneers sold 99 items during the auction Thursday night to bring in $18,533. The diner and sweet shop brought in $6,145 and the hour and goat club added $18,372. The nightly total of $43,051 pushed the four-night total to more than $132,000 ahead of 2021.

During his Thursday night wrap-up, auction chairman Andrew Wilson noted it was a big night.
