A Trigg County woman was charged with assault of a police officer on Cerulean Bainbridge Road in Trigg County Wednesday.
Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree says they went to the home of 29-year-old Kristen Turner to serve civil papers when she became unruly and refused to comply with deputies and then attempted to strike one of them.
She was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal mischief, resisting arrest, and third-degree assault of a police officer.
