Police have released the name of a Hopkinsville teenager that was injured in a five-vehicle wreck on Country Club Lane at the intersection of Lafayette Road Friday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a truck driven by 82-year-old Robert Warren of Hopkinsville was eastbound on Country Club Lane when he struck a westbound SUV driven by 47-year-old Scott Smith of Hopkinsville.
Warren then hit a second SUV driven by 75-year-old Gayland Morris of Hopkinsville that was also eastbound. Warren’s truck went on to hit a westbound car driven by 18-year-old Kayla Hoover of Hopkinsville that was behind Smith pushing it off the roadway.
Warren’s truck went on to hit a second car driven by 42-year-old Jonathan Maddox of Hopkinsville that was behind Hoover before coming to a stop.
A passenger in Hoover’s car 17-year-old Jacob Frederick was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for injuries.
The crash happened just before 6 pm.
