A Hopkinsville man was arrested on a warrant for sexual abuse after a traffic stop on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 29-year-old Brandon Gard was stopped for having blue lights on under his vehicle and admitted to police that he did not have an operator’s license or a valid insurance card.
During the stop, he was found to have an active indictment warrant for two counts of first-degree sexual abuse and two counts of attempted first-degree rape.
A law enforcement K9 reportedly alerted on the vehicle during the stop and a glass pipe was found with meth residue inside.
He is charged with possession of meth, improper use of blue lights, failure to produce an insurance card, and operating on a suspended or revoked license.
