A Hopkinsville man was charged after he reportedly assaulted his girlfriend on South Main Street in Hopkinsville Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 32-year-old Ramon Carrillo put his hands around his girlfriend’s neck impeding her breathing during an altercation.
He was later arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault and first-degree strangulation
