In its seventh year, the Ms. Plus Western Kentucky State Fair Pageant draws as many contestants as the longer-running Miss and Mrs. pageants held each year.
Two more winners were crowned Monday night at the fairgrounds convention center.
Heather Hayes, who has worked behind the scenes to promote the pageant in past years, won the title for the 30 and up age group after five previous misses. She said she was surprised to hear her name called as the winner.

click to download audioHayes was also named Miss Congeniality by her fellow competitors. The fourth runner-up was Jackie Ross. The third runner-up was Ashley Martin. The second runner-up was Allison Ford, and the first runner-up was Brianna Hyde.
In the under 30 category, JoEllen Reynolds of Cerulean was crowned the winner. For her, it was just about having fun and sharing the night with friends and family.
click to download audioReynolds also won the award for best dress wear. Breonna Manning was named third runner-up. Whittany Turley was the second runner-up, and Sierra Duvall was the first runner-up in the age group.
