Christian County Fiscal Court Lowers Wayne Elgin Road Speed Limit

Following a signed petition from at least 10 homes, Christian County Fiscal Court spent Tuesday morning unanimously approving the lowering of a speed limit on Wayne Elgin Road — down from 35 mph to 25 mph.

Magistrate Jerry Gilliam said he had been approached by Austin Calvert about the speedy concerns, which brought about the petition to the court.

The road begins just across from Deason Road and is connected to Greenville Road.
