Hopkinsville Community College officials have announced that their Chief Institutional Advancement Officer and Executive Director of the HCC Foundation, Yvette Yonce Eastham, has been selected to serve on the Council for Advancement and Support of Education Center for Community College Advancement and its Advisory Committee.
The CASE CCCA’s responsibility is to guide efforts of the international organization, by providing leadership on issues of concern to community colleges. It also supports the development of resources and services for community colleges and advancement professionals.
Eastham’s first term began July 1, and will run through June 2025.
Among her tasks on this committee include the development of model policies, standards and guidelines, the creation of briefs and other materials to assist community college foundations function efficiently, provide professional expertise to colleagues, and assist in the organization and conduct of specific program, seminars, conferences and audits.
Eastham called community colleges the “vanguard of opportunity” for millions across the U.S., who are looking to reach their own goals and potential in order to better serve local communities.
