With the annual Trigg County Country Ham Festival two months away, organizers have begun to announce the entertainment that will headline the weekend in downtown Cadiz.
According to a post on the Ham Festival’s Facebook page, Rubiks Groove will be the headlining act on Saturday night at a yet-to-be-announced location in downtown Cadiz.
Their website describes Rubiks Groove as an “Outside of the Box” 80s, 90s & 00s Tribute Band. The Nashville-based group is described as a high-energy, character-driven act that includes a 360-degree interactive experience with live music from rock to hip hop, along with characters and costumes.
During the last Ham Festival Committee meeting, there was a discussion about possibly moving the main stage from West Cadiz Park to another location if they bring in helicopter rides as an attraction. Last year marked the first time the main stage had been moved from the Renaissance Stage.
Further information about entertainment and attractions is expected to be released by the ham festival committee n the coming weeks.
