Night 6 of the League of Women Voter forums featured candidates for State House of Representatives. District 9 incumbent Myron Dossett is being challenged by educator Bianca Crockam. When asked what her top priorities would be Crockam said helping farmers and education.
Dossett's top priorities are tax reform.
Dossett says he does not believe that the minimum wage needs to be increased.
Crockam says many businesses have raised their minimum pay, but an increase could be looked at in the future.
She adds she wants to see a state that welcomes all people.
Dossett says he wants a Kentucky where everyone has a future.
Dossett and Crockam are split on party lines regarding Amendments 1 and 2 on the ballot this election.
