Applications are being accepted for assistance through the Trigg County Ambulance Service’s Toys for Tots program. Trigg County EMS Director Jason Meador says he is proud to carry on a tradition that started with former Director the late Nell Thomas.

click to download audioThe Trigg County Ambulance Service is located on Hospital Street behind Trigg County Hospital. Meador says funds are raised for the Toys for Tots program by John Mark Vinson and Goodwin Funeral Home. He said Vinson sends out letters each year seeking donations, with the community always responding to meeting more than $13,000 cost to conduct the toy drive. Meador adds donations can always be dropped off at the Trigg County Ambulance Service.
