A wreck on Herndon Oak Grove Road in Herndon sent three people to the hospital one with severe injuries Wednesday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a southbound SUV crossed into the northbound lanes of traffic and hit a car head-on near the intersection of Kentucky 345.
A helicopter was called to the scene to transfer the driver of the SUV to the hospital but after she was cut from her vehicle she had to be rushed by ambulance to Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville.
The driver of the car along with a child that was in the SUV were also injured in the crash and were taken by ambulance to the hospital.
The crash happened at 2 p.m.
