Downtown Princeton will be full of music Saturday as Create Princeton presents “Downtown Sounds.”
Laura Klubert of Create Princeton explains the non-profit grassroots organization began a few years ago devoted to reinvigorating a community of fine arts by investing in art programming and local artists in Princeton and Caldwell County.
click to download audioKlubert says “Downtown Sounds” is a free outdoor music venue that will be held Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. She said the idea is for people to bring a chair or a blanket and move around to each of the three locations.

click to download audioKlubert adds Saturday is also the Chamber of Commerce Open House Shopping Day. She says they hope everyone comes out early to support local businesses and do some Christmas shopping, and then end the day enjoying the “Downtown Sounds” music event in the hopes of making it an annual event.
