Man Charged With Possession Of Several Drugs

A Hopkinsville man was charged with possession of meth, heroin, and opiates on East 9th Street in Hopkinsville Thursday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the area for 25-year-old Issaac Wootton who was going through a trash can and found him to have an active warrant for non-payment of fines.

During the arrest, he was reportedly found to have heroin and what is believe to be opiates along with several syringes and other drug paraphernalia. After getting to the jail, police say more meth and heroin was found on him.

He is charged with third-degree escape, first-degree promoting contraband, possession of meth, heroin, and a drug that is unspecified.
