Former Lyon County Judge-executive Wade White will serve on the Tennessee Valley Authority Board of Directors following Senate confirmation this week.
In a release Wednesday afternoon, U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell applauded the Senate for finally adding a Kentuckian to the TVA Board. He said 215,000 Kentucky households access power from TVA and its subsidiaries.
Senator McConnell recommended White to the President and introduced him to the U.S. Senate Subcommittee on Clean Air, Climate, and Nuclear Safety earlier this year.
