After 13 years as the Trigg County extension agent for family and consumer science, Cecelia Hostilo is ready for someone else to be in charge.
Hostilo was greeted by family, friends, and past and current co-workers at a Friday reception at the Elaine Clift meeting room of the Trigg County Extension Office.
Graham Cofield, the extension agent for agriculture and natural resources, has known Hostilo as a 4-H student and as a co-worker.

Extension assistant Deidra Hite said that the task was more important and time-consuming than most people realize.

click to download audioCofield and Crawford will both share Hostilo’s responsibilities until a replacement is named. The UK Extension Service funds two positions in Trigg County. Any others are funded by Trigg County Fiscal Court.
Prior to becoming the Trigg County family and consumer science agent, Hostilo taught at Hopkinsville High School for 21 years, 13 of which were in learning and behavior disorders and eight in family and consumer sciences.
