A Hopkinsville man was charged after he allegedly led law enforcement on a foot pursuit in Pembroke Tuesday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called to the area of Clara Drive in Pembroke for a disturbance with 27-year-old Daquan Butler allegedly assaulting a woman over problems in their relationship.
He fled on foot when deputies arrived. He later returned to the home and the woman called deputies again. Butler fled the scene again but was quickly apprehended after refusing to follow deputies’ commands.
He was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), first-degree fleeing or evading police, second-degree disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
