Hampton Premium Meats will open their new retail location Monday, February 6, with the business to make the move later this week.
Hampton Premium Meats owners announced Monday morning the retail operation will move from the current location inside the meat processing facility next door to the former building that previously housed a number of businesses including Lawncutters. The announcement says the business will offer several new options including a grill to serve meat products including breakfast and lunch items. The grill will open a few weeks after the retail store.
Hampton’s employees will be moving equipment from the current store to the new store Friday and Saturday. Although the business may look closed Thursday and Friday due to the move, they plan to remain open, with most items available by request only since the meat cases will no longer be in the store.
Owners say they plan to remain open during the move Friday and Saturday, with the new location to open Monday, February 6.
The move of the retail operation to a new facility is one of many steps new owner Chris Milam and his partners are planning for Hampton’s Premium Meats. There are also plans to expand the cooler capacity and processing capacity at the operation on Pembroke Road.
