Deputies have released the names of two people injured in a wreck on Interstate 24 in Christian County Monday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say an eastbound car driven by 31-year-old Natalie Bade of Lebanon, Illinois, hit the cable barriers while swerving to miss a deer.
A tractor-trailer driven by 35-year-old Rodregius Hayes of Henderson pulled off to the side of the road to assist in the crash and a truck driven by 28-year-old Soriano Jimenez of Richfield, Minnesota, that was pulling a trailer hit Bade’s car then the tractor-trailer.
Bade and her passenger 37-year-old Shelia Cook of Mascoutah, Illinois, were treated at the scene by Hopkinsville EMS and then transported to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries. The crash happened just after the Fort Campbell Boulevard exit around 5 a.m.
