Princeton Man Flown To Hospital After Wreck on Western Kentucky Parkway

A Princeton man was airlifted to a Nashville hospital after a single-vehicle wreck on the Western Kentucky Parkway in Muhlenberg County Tuesday morning.

Post 2 spokesman Trooper Brandon McPherson of Kentucky State Police reports that a preliminary investigation shows that an SUV, operated by 38-year-old Bronzson Lane, was heading east on the parkway when it went into the median, crossed both westbound lanes, and then crashed into a guardrail off the westbound shoulder, causing it to overturn and trap Lane’s arm beneath it.

According to Trooper McPherson, Lane was freed by Graham and Wendell H. Ford Regional Training Center Fire Departments and flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

The investigation into the crash that occurred around 8:00 a.m. is ongoing.
