Funeral services for 99-year-old Bryan Whitfield “B.B.” Blount III, of Elkton, will be held Saturday afternoon, February 25, 2023, at 1:00, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Guthrie.
Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton.
Visitation will be Friday evening, February 24, 2023, from 4:00-7:00 at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, with a prayer service to follow.
Blount was a two-term mayor of Elkton and served in many other roles across the region.
He is survived by his daughter Ann Toliver and her husband Gary of Madison, TN; his step daughters, Carolyn V. Gault of Syracuse, NY, Anita Gault Moriarty of Elkton and Alisa Gault Walsh and her husband Terry of Elkton; his step sons, William L. “Billy” Gault III and his wife Ann of Raceland, KY, and Burt Gault and his wife Vivian of Bowling Green, KY; his sister Jane Blount Michler of Lexington, KY, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
