Graveside services for 64-year-old Lupe Ybarra of Hopkinsville will be 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, April 4, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include:
His wife, Diane Ybarra of Hopkinsville;
A son, Joshua (Tiffany) Ybarra of Hopkinsville;
A step-son, Kevin Green of Hopkinsville;
Mother, Janie Ybarra of Adrian, Michigan;
Two brothers, Pablo Ybarra, Jr., and Jimmy (Vicki) Ybarra, both of Adrian, Michigan;
Three sisters, Vicky (Louie) Flores, Mary Ann Ybarra and Christina Moreno, all of Adrian, Michigan;
Four grandchildren, one step grandchild, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He died at 4:35 PM Thursday, March 30, 2023, at his residence.
A native of Adrian, Michigan, Ybarra was born on January 17, 1959 to the late Pablo Ybarra, Sr. and Janie Guana Ybarra. Lupe proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he was an indirect fire infantryman. In his working years, he was a master electrician, retiring after 42 years. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, traveling and helping others.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by grandparents Jose and Alexander Guana, and father and mother-in-law Homer and Mary Brayboy.
