Dale Moore, age 78 of Elkton, passed away at 2:00 a.m., Friday, March 31, 2023, at his residence.
Services will be Monday, April 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sharon Grove Church of Christ in Sharon Grove, with Mr. Phil Dunn and Mr. Jerry Crunk officiating. Burial will follow in the Gant Cemetery in Todd County. Visitation will be Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Visitation at the church will be on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m.
Moore was born November 11, 1944, in Todd County. He was a farmer, a welder at Coffman’s Metal Works in Russellville, a truck driver and a barber for many years in Elkton. He graduated from Draughon’s Business College, and barber schools in Louisville, and Nashville. Moore was a member at Sharon Grove Church of Christ where he served as Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He loved working on his antique tractors. His parents Robert Gordon Moore and Sylvia Ione McGehee Moore preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Caryn Moore of Elkton, his daughters Lori Carver and her husband Bill of Kirkmansville, and Molly Southern and her husband Gene of Clarksville, TN, his sister Anna Jo Parmley of Daysville, his grandchildren Ashley Brooks and her fiancé Cody Conner, Dillon Dawson and his wife Mallory, Paige Carver and Emma Carver;
3 Nieces, 1 nephew, 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew.
