Perry Martin Dunn, 66, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky died at 4:03 a.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville will oversee the arrangements.
A native of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Perry was born on February 11, 1957, to the late Gordon and Mary Dunn.
He was a farmer, a carpenter, and a mechanic, and up to his retirement worked as an Industrial Carpet Cleaner for Cannon Enterprises.
Perry’s favorite hobby was restoring old vehicles and going to Car shows. He also enjoyed dancing, and going to Bingo and was a regular at the local Waffle House visiting with the Staff and numerous friends. He also enjoyed all Holidays and special occasions with his family and beautiful wife, Kay.
Survivors include his wife: Kay Frances Whitaker Dunn of Hopkinsville; his sons, Eddie R. Cannon of Hopkinsville, Jimmy Cannon of Oak Grove, and Robert Dunn of Elkton. His daughter, Pamela (Mike) Shay of Clarksville, Tenn.; his brother, Roger Dunn of Hopkinsville, his sisters, Debbie McGee and Diane Rogers both of Hopkinsville and Joyce White of Hopkinsville; his grandchildren, Timothy, Evan, Kristen, Michael, Alyssa, Gabby, Robert, Connor, Alvin and Matthew. Several great-grandchildren.
