Carol McCraw, 75, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023, after a lengthy illness. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Service to be held on April 22, at 2 pm, at Westview Assembly of God. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. McCraw was born in Hopkinsville, on March 7, 1948, the daughter of the late Tommy Bolen and Dorothy Quarles Bolen. For most of her life, she was self-employed but is best known for her work in prison ministry which she did for over 50 years. She is a member of the Westview Assembly of God.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Ruben Leroy McCraw of Hopkinsville; her son, JT McCraw and his wife Shelly of Franklin, Tenn.; her daughter, Tammy R. Hancock and her husband Ricky of Hopkinsville; her sisters, Bobbi Bradley of Clarksville, Tenn.; and Phyllis Worthley of Broken Arrow, Okla.;
Five grandchildren, Seth, Carson, Allie Beth (Jonas) Litton, Halle and Blakely, and 1 great-grandson, Ezra.
