Funeral services will be Saturday, April 22 at 11:00 at New Beginnings Ministries in Hopkinsville.
Burial will follow in Trigg Memory Acres.
Visitation will be Saturday morning at 10:00.
Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Myrtle was the daughter of the late Henry Strong, Sr., and Annie Mae Porter Strong.
She was a member of Christ Temple Christian Life Center where she was the President of the Usher Ministry, Sunday School Teacher, and Director of Christian Life Education. She was employed as a factory worker with Metalsa formerly named Dana.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Henry Strong, Jr.
Survivors include her 4 children, Denise Shepard, Willette (James) Cooper, Alicia (Argusta) Smith, and David (Keilan) Hollowell; Siblings, Lovey (Jimmie) Rogers, Melvin Strong, Sr., Nathan Strong, David Strong, and Dennis (Karen) Strong; Granddaughters, Candace (James) Powell and Symone (Joshua) Baldwin; Great-granddaughter, Audrey Powell; Great-grandsons, Kenton Powell and Royce Powell.
