Funeral services will be Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 12:00 at Gamble Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Rocky Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday morning, April 29 at 11:00 at Gamble Funeral Home.
Richard, the son of the late Julian and Hewell Irvin Gude, was born on August 6, 1941, in Trigg County.
Richard was an Agape Apostolic Faith Assembly member and an ordained preacher at Second Baptist Missionary Church.
He was also a machine operator at a railroad and drove for the Amish.
He enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Norman “Frank” Gude, and Bertha Faulkner; 1 grandson, Earl Tinsley; and 1 great-great-granddaughter, Aria Hatcher.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha Gude; 9 children, Gary (Erica) Gude, Gerald (Wendy) Gude, Zina (Tommy) Wilson, Brenda Gude, Timothy (Sabrina) Gude, Vernetta Kennedy, Robert Gude, Lacia Douglas, Tonya Douglas; 3 siblings, Julian Gude Jr., Anthony Gude, Lisa Gude; 18 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and other relatives.
