The sixth annual Women Empowerment Conference hosted by MEDI in Hopkinsville will occur Friday, May 12.
MEDI Director Henry Snorton tells Your News Edge the event will take place at Hopkinsville Community College’s Emerging Technologies Building and will help kick off Mother’s Day weekend.
Christian County Public Schools board member Ty’Jairria Johnson, who attends Christian County High School and serves as a Student Representative, will recite Maya Angelou’s ‘Phenomenal Woman.’
Additionally, four women will share ‘My Journey: Climbing the Ladder to Success.’
This year’s “WE Show” luncheon will feature Commonwealth Attorney Stephanie Bolen.
