Princeton Man Indicted In March Caldwell County Murder

A Princeton man was indicted for murder by the Caldwell County Grand Jury during its May session.

42-year-old Eric Wright was indicted on one count of murder in connection to the death of 27-year-old Rachel Tucker-Wright of Princeton in March. According to the indictment, her death resulted from blunt force trauma.

State police were called to conduct a death investigation at the home located at 2848 Dripping Springs Road on March 26, after an initial call came into 911 to report an unresponsive female. State police reported that the preliminary investigation indicated that foul play was suspected.

Wright was interviewed by state police and subsequently charged with murder – domestic violence. He was taken into custody and lodged in the Caldwell County Jail where he remains under a $1 million bond.
