Former state legislator Jonathon Shell and economic development consultant Sierra Enlow will face off in the November Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture race after winning their respective primary elections Tuesday.
With 119 of 120 counties reporting Jonathon Shell defeated Kentucky House Agriculture Committee Chairman Richard Heath with 56 percent of the vote. Meanwhile Sierra Enlow outdistanced Mikael Malone in the democrat primary with 59 percent of the statewide vote.
During a recent campaign stop in Hopkinsville Shell said he has some specific goals if elected Commissioner of Agriculture.
