A man died at the hospital after a medical problem led to an accident on North Drive in Hopkinsville Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Payton Rogers says a medical problem led to 58-year-old Alan Alder laying on the tractor’s controls and the forks digging into the road injuring him.
Alder was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for severe injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Alder was Identified by the Christian County Coroner’s Office Thursday morning when they confirmed he died at the hospital after the incident.
