A Cadiz man was charged with fleeing or evading police after a report of a disturbance on Hayden Street Wednesday night.
Cadiz Police say they were called to the area for a disturbance and while talking with 37-year-old Dennie Tyler he gave them a fake name but was identified by other people in the area.
He reportedly fled on foot before running into a home on Line Street. Police say the owner did not invite him in and he was found on the floor in the kitchen by law enforcement.
He was arrested and charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police and second-degree burglary. He was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
