Funeral services for 85-year-old Ronald Piatt, of Hopkinsville, will be 1 PM Thursday at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the New Barren Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until the funeral hour.
Survivors include:
His son, Benjamin D. Piatt (Kelley), of Hopkinsville;
His daughters, Deborah D. Rundall, of Gracey, Carolyn M. Fincham (Scott), of Hopkinsville, Cynthia L. Cummings (Walter) of Christian County, and Melissa L. Isenhoff (Barry) of Gracey;
11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Rev. Jeremy Hayes is officiating.
Piatt died at 7:45 PM Monday, June 19, 2023, at his home, and of natural causes.
He was born July 24, 1937, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, son of the late William Piatt and Ida Marie Rouse Weigler. He retired from Thomas Industries, and was a member of New Barren Springs Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Diane Snead Piatt in 2014; his brother, Charles Piatt; his sisters, Gwen Miller, Sandra Maxwell and Jackie Johnson.
