Funeral services for 63-year-old Charles “Charlie” Ford, of Hopkinsville, will be held at a later date.

Four children, Andrea (Caleb) Colter of Eunice, New Mexico, Holly (Steven) Cobb of Claremore, Oklahoma, Joy Ford of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Britton Ford (Sky Wiltshire) of Lebanon, Tennessee;
Three brothers, Jerry (Debbie) Ford of Claremore, Oklahoma, Freddie Heape of Vinita, Oklahoma, and William (Amy) Heape of Mannford, Oklahoma;
His sister, Monica (Paul) Slavens of Sapulpa, Oklahoma;
11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Ford won his battle with cancer at 4:07 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at his residence.
Charlie was born in Lubbock, Texas, January 12, 1960 to the late Joyce Gilmore Heape. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and employed at Krusteaz as a machine operator. He was an avid golfer and sports fan of Oklahoma Sooners football, UK basketball, Chicago Bears football and Atlanta Braves baseball.
