In a precautionary measure, the Christian County Water District has issued a boil water advisory for several addresses off of Princeton Road due to a mainline valve replacement project.
The advisory, effective immediately, will remain in place until further notice. The affected addresses include those within the range of 5001-6109 Princeton Road, and 915-2055 Everett Lane. Additionally, all addresses on Forrest Drive, Marsalin Court, and Gilkey Lane are also included in the advisory.
The Christian County Water District has taken this step to ensure the safety and well-being of its customers. During the valve replacement project, temporary water contamination is possible, which could pose health risks if consumed without proper precautions.
Residents and businesses within the affected areas are advised to boil all water used for consumption for at least one minute, to kill any potential bacteria or other harmful microorganisms that may be present.
