A Hopkinsville man was charged with drug possession after he was found slumped over next to a truck in a parking lot on North Main Street Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the Dollar General and found 46-year-old James Goode slumped over a tire iron next to a truck. He was allegedly found to have Fentanyl, Buprenorphine, and Naloxone pills in his possession.
He was arrested and charged with public intoxication, possession of opiates, and second-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unidentified).
