A Trigg County church is among the many stepping up to help families in need before the school year starts in less than a month.
Jess Smith, a member of Refuge Church in Cadiz, told Your News Edge they will host a ‘Back to School Bash’ on Saturday, August 5, and adds that donations are needed.
Smith said those who attend the family-friendly event will have a lot of activities to participate in.
Smith said the supplies they are handing out will be for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Refuge Church is located at 96 Jefferson Street, across from the original Genesis Express, in Cadiz.
