The annual Pennyrile Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place next month, with the regional organization seeking donations to help fund ongoing research and support groups.
Committee member Kimberly Allen tells Your News Edge the event will take place Saturday, September 23, at the Christian County Justice Center.
Allen added if you aren’t able to attend the event in Hopkinsville, the City of Cadiz will host an event two weeks before.
Allen shared some facts related to Alzheimer’s.
She added when patients don’t embrace the diagnosis, it makes it harder to care for them.
